Horned Women, 14"w x 12"h, 2007. This story is really super old, and can be found in Irish
Fairy and Folk Tales by W.B. Yeats. Its a pretty obscure story from the middle ages. Its about a
woman who stays up late spinning, when she hears a knock on the door. To her surprise she is
greeted by a woman with a horn sticking out of her head. The women then goes into a trance. She
keeps answering the door and each time it is a woman with one more horn sticking out of her
head. There end up being twelve women the last have twelve horns sticking out of her head. The
Woman eventually gets help from the spirit of the well and she gets rid of the Horned Women.
